A Long Time Waitin' is the first full length feature album by Cyrus Da Zine which is now getting to see the light of day in it's best possible form. This album is 15 years old and has been remixed and remastered to bring it to its highest potential. After releasing a current EP, What's The Story? in 2023, Cyrus wanted to share music that was made during an extremely impactful period in his life. This album was made while Cyrus was living in the Bronx in New York City and pursuing his dreams alongside his friend and hip hop mentor, Termanology. Term taught Cyrus the game and brought him all over the US and Europe, planting a seed in Cyrus that has grown into the music you hear him making today. This album, A Long Time Waitin' produced by the incredibly talented J. Cardim, is a time capsule from the early 2,000s which showcases members of ST. da Squad and Cyrus's long time cohort Jon Tac. It's aged beautifully, like a fine wine, with a classic sound that won't go out of style. It sounds nostalgic and is laden with soulful instrumentation, capturing Cyrus embarking on his dreams, by moving to the Mecca of hip hop to be immersed in it.
